Erfenis Sokkie Jol
Bier Tuin, Boeries, Musiek & Dans
Featuring Refentse & Nicolis Louw
Celebrate Heritage Month in true South African style at Erfenis Sokkie Jol, a first-of-its-kind Afrikaans music and dance experience at Wild Coast Sun. As part of our Molo 45 Years celebrations, we're bringing together great music, great food, and great company for an unforgettable day of entertainment.
On 26 September 2026, the picturesque Banqueting Lawns will come alive with the sounds of two of South Africa's most loved Afrikaans artists, Refentse and Nicolis Louw. Set against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean, this open-air event offers the perfect setting to celebrate Afrikaans culture, music, and community. Arrive early and make a day of it. Enjoy ice-cold refreshments in the lively Beer Garden, tuck into classic favorites like boerie rolls, and soak up the festive atmosphere as live music fills the air. Whether you're a passionate sokkie dancer or simply looking for a unique day out with family and friends, Erfenis Sokkie Jol promises an authentic South African celebration under the open sky. The experience doesn't stop at the event grounds.
Guests can explore everything Wild Coast Sun has to offer, from spectacular coastal views and comfortable accommodation to exciting gaming, restaurants, and leisure activities. Turn your concert outing into a memorable weekend escape. As Wild Coast Sun celebrates 45 years of legendary entertainment, Erfenis Sokkie Jol marks a new chapter in our entertainment offering, bringing the Afrikaans community together for a day filled with music, dancing, laughter, and heritage.
Gather your friends, bring your dancing shoes, and join us for a celebration you'll be talking about long after the final song.
