Rules
- Any person under 18 years of age, excluded, self-excluded, or falling within any category of excluded persons is prohibited from participating in the Win a Prize Promotional Competition.
- The competition is exclusive to Sun MVG members and excludes directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, marketing service providers, persons controlling or controlled by the company, their spouses, life partners, business partners, immediate family members, and individuals prohibited from gambling under the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy.
- Participants earn points to qualify for entry tickets during the promotional period from 1 September 2026 to 1 November 2026 by playing slots or tables while using their Sun MVG cards in accordance with the Sun MVG programme terms and conditions.
- Entries cannot be purchased using cash, points, or any other form of consideration. There is no limit to the number of valid entries per participant.
- Prize images used in promotional material may differ from the actual prize, model, or specifications awarded. Further information may be obtained from the casino.
- Prize winners will be selected through a random draw. Winners present at the draw must report to the promotional jockey within 120 seconds and produce the relevant printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG card, and/or government-issued identification document or passport.
- Participants who do not wish to attend the draw may appoint a proxy by completing a proxy form at Wild Coast Sun before the draw, subject to the proxy form terms and conditions. Only the selected participant, and not the proxy, is entitled to the prize.
- A proxy may only represent a participant on the specific draw date stated in the proxy form. Where a proxy represents multiple participants in the same draw, all affected participants will be disqualified. Any prizes issued under such circumstances must be returned to the casino without compensation.
- If a participant or proxy is absent, fails to report within the specified time, or cannot provide the required ticket, MVG card, or identification within 120 seconds, a redraw will occur without compensation.
- Draw dates, draw times, and entry qualification criteria will be communicated through promotional advertising channels.
- Participants must activate their draw entries at Wild Coast Sun on the day of the draw within the advertised entry activation period.
- Where a winner chooses to risk a prize for a higher-value or alternative prize, no compensation will be provided if the original prize is lost.
- The number of eligible draw entries communicated before a draw may vary due to timing differences between data extraction, entry activation, and card tier regrading processes.
- By participating, participants consent to the casino announcing or displaying their personal information, including their name, surname, and/or Sun MVG number.
- Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated. Winners must present valid government-issued identification when collecting prizes.
- All decisions relating to the competition are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
- Any participant who breaches the competition rules will be disqualified.
- If there is a technical failure, malfunction, or damage affecting the draw device, management may use an alternative device or method at its sole discretion.
- Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these rules by all participants and proxies.
- Any exception or deviation granted by management does not waive the casino’s right to enforce these rules in future or similar circumstances.
- The rules are severable. If any clause is found unenforceable by law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- These rules constitute the official rules of the promotional competition and supersede all previous versions. Copies are available at the Sun MVG Desk and on sunginternational.com.
- Management reserves the right to terminate the competition without notice or compensation, or to enhance prizes, increase the number of prizes, or vary aspects of the promotion where such changes benefit participants (excluding earning criteria).
- Management reserves the right to amend the draw, modify the draw mechanics, cancel the promotion, or replace it with a new promotion if it does not deliver the expected return on investment.
- Any gambling-related disputes may be referred to the Eastern Cape Gambling Board (ECGB).
