CHUTNEY & NAGARA SPECTACULAR

Showtime Promotions presents a night of glamour, entertainment & music for the entire family at CHUTNEY & NAGARA SPECTACULAR featuring Flash Entertainers & The Phoenix Dancing Company.

Originally stemmed from India where men dressed in eastern attire, danced to Nagara music as women were not allowed to perform. Nagara has been traditionally known as a percussion instrument used for its rhythmic sounds at festivities.

Flash Entertainers has distinguished itself by winning the coveted South African Traditional Music Award (SATMA) with a record breaking of six times. This year marks 58 years of Flash Entertainers music excellence, with performances across the country, Flash Entertainers strive to ensure the love for Nagara music lives on for generations to come.

The Phoenix Dancing Company also known as PDC needs no introduction as their fan following on social media speaks for itself. Having performed at numerous events for the past 38 years, PDC’s diligence, dedication and passion for the arts has paved the way not only to entertain but also to serve Sanathan Dharma and uplift the community ensuring music lovers to never dance alone.
