Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    • Friday and Saturday ǀ 20 and 21 January 2023 ǀ 20h00 and 21h00
    • Ticket issue ǀ From 15h00 on draw day;
  2. The total prize value is R100 000 cash over the promotional period;
  3. The prize value on each respective draw day is R50 000 cash;
  4. On each draw day at 20h00, R14 000 cash will be given away consisting of R2 000, R3 000, R4 000 and R5 000 respectively;
  5. On each draw day at 21h00, R36 000 cash will be given away consisting of R6 000, R8 000, R10 000 and R12 000 respectively;                    
  6. MVG members will receive one free ticket per draw on each respective draw day;
  7. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the draws on each respective draw day;
  8. Prize winners will be selected by way of a random selection through E-draw;
  9. Draw announcements will be made on the casino floor and winners will be informed of prize collection location;
  10. Prize winners will be given 180 seconds (three minutes) to present themselves and must be in possession of their MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (Passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
  11. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds (three minutes), a redraw will take place;
  12. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes
  13. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  14. Prizes are not transferable;
  15. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  16. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  17. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  18. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  19. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  20. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
