Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. Qualifying MVG members playing slots on the main floor, including Sun Lounges, during the qualification period, will have an opportunity to select a participating horse via the Race Day bonusing tool on i-view;
  2. MVG members must earn five slots race day points during the specific earning period to be eligible for entry into the race;
  3. A maximum of five entries will be allowed in the promotion;
  4. The promotion runs on the following date and times:
    • Tuesday:
      • 23 and 30 January 2024 | 6, 13 and 27 February 2024
      • 5, 12, 19 and 26 March 2024 | 2, 9, 16 and 23 April 2024
      • Qualification and selection periods | 18h00 to 19h45 and Race  | 20h00
  5. The total prize value of this promotion is R1.3 million in XtraPlay, with the weekly prize values as indicated below:

  6. Slots prizes will be paid directly to account;
  7. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  8. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
  9. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  10. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  11. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  12. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  13. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  14. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  15. These gaming promotion rules are the official rules for this gaming promotion and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the Sun MVG Desk upon request and at suninternational.com.
  16. Management reserves the right to terminate the gaming promotion without prior notice.
