Progressive Prize

The jackpot will be paid to the winner(s) in a particular session who is first to get all 9 numbers within the first 18 spins.
There will be no base value all prize money will be distributed as follows:
Jackpot value - 70% of the ticket sales for that specific session as well as 70% of the combined value of the main prize pool not won in previous session(s) and thus carried over.
Progressive value - 30% of the total after ticket sales plus 30% of the rollover amount will go towards the Consolation Prize
The continued increase in the jackpot value will be determined solely by 70% of the amount/value of the ticket sales in subsequent sessions and will continue accruing in value.

Consolidation Prize

30% of the total after ticket sales plus the rollover amount will go towards the Consolation Prize.
If the jackpot is not won, a staff member will announce the first 18 numbers that were spun to allow all players an opportunity to check their tickets again. A reasonable period will be allowed for this purpose.
The Marketing Staff member will then announce that spins will continue for the consolation prize until a winner(s) are identified.
Again, participating players must shout in a clear and audible voice when all 9 numbers are recorded on their ticket and present themselves with their picture identification or personalised MVG card and winning ticket to the Marketing staff member.
The verification process as described above will apply.
If there are multiple winners, the consolation prize of 30% of the total ticket sales (per session) will be shared equally amongst them.
Once the winner(s) have been announced, no further winning claims will be considered.
This consolation prize will be paid as 30% of the total ticket sales for the session plus any rollover from the jackpot prize pool.

Prize Breakdown

The progressive jackpot will be paid to the winner(s) in a particular session who is first to get all 9 numbers within the first 18 spins.
The progressive jackpot`s base value will be determined solely by the amount/value of the ticket sales for that specific session.
The continued increase in the progressive jackpot value will be determined solely by the amount/value of the ticket sales in subsequent sessions (- R5 000 allocated to consolation prize) and will continue accruing in value.
Once the progressive jackpot value reaches a threshold of +R100 000, the designated staff member will keep spinning until a winner(s) are identified, irrespective of the number of spins. The prize money will be shared equally if there are multiple winners.

Additional Mechanics

70% of the total after ticket sales plus the rollover amount will go towards the Jackpot.
30% of the total after ticket sales plus the rollover amount will go towards the Consolation Prize.
Tickets (duplicate) are sold at the Cash Desk at R30 per ticket.
Ticket sales will open on the day of the promotion at 10h00.
Tickets are only valid for date of purchase i.e. (tickets bought on 06 April are only valid for 06 April).

Ticket sales close 15 min before the session start time (17h45).
Top copies must be handed to the designated staff on duty at the promotion station, which will be located on the main gaming floor or any other suitable area.
Tickets must be handed in 5 minutes prior to the start of the promotion.
The players must retain the bottom copy as proof of entry and for verification purposes.
No staff members are allowed on the stage except for the designated staff responsible for safeguarding and verifying the tickets when a possible winner(s) has been identified.
Security officers will be in attendance at the promotion station. They are not allowed on the stage but must simply be present to safeguard the stage area containing the top copies. They must also ensure that no persons access the stage during the promotion, except the designated staff already present on the stage.
A designated staff member will spin the numbers. AR02 will be utilized for the promotion. In case AR02 is unavailable another table will be used at the discretion of management.
A Marketing Staff member will announce all numbers spun in an audible voice.
A player(s) that records all 9 of their tickets` selected numbers within the first 18 spins will be declared the winner(s) of the JACKPOT.
The possible winner(s) must shout in a clear and audible voice and present their ticket at the tables pit for initial verification of the winning numbers.
If a number is spun more than once, the Staff member making announcements will announce a re-spin.
<>Repeat numbers spun will have no material effect on the outcome and will thus be ignored for the purpose of this promotion.
A number verification sheet will be filled in to keep record of all the numbers spun.
The potential winner(s) ticket must be produced to the attending Casino staff and security personnel, together with picture identification or personalised MVG card.
Second stage verification (comparing top & bottom copies) will take place at the sorting table on the stage at the promotion station.
No staff or guests, other than the designated staff member(s) transporting the ticket from the tables pit, may come into contact with the staff on the stage tasked with the location and verification of the top and bottom copies of the winning tickets. This is to prevent collusion in smuggling the top copy of the ticket into the possession of attending staff.
Surveillance will monitor the area where the verification is held and concluded.
The corresponding top copy must be located by the designated staff in attendance and handed to a security officer in attendance for additional verification.
Once the top and bottom copies have been positively verified as a match, the PJ will announce the winner(s).
Once the winner(s) have been announced, no further winning claims will be considered.
The Verification book must be completed by the designated person with full winner(s) details and all relevant parties must sign.
If there are multiple winners, the prize pool will be shared equally amongst them.
A manual slot short will be written out and the winner(s) will take it to the cash desk to receive their prize.
The jackpot prize paid out = 70% of the ticket sales for that specific session as well as 70% of the combined value of the main prize pool not won in previous session(s) and thus carried over.
The prize pool (progressive jackpot) will exclude any consolation prize(s) of 30% of the ticket sales for that specific session as well as 30% of the combined value of the main prize pool not won in previous sessions. These amounts will be deducted from the total prize pool beforehand.
Both copies of the winning ticket are retained by the Marketing.

Rules

No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
Participating entrants must be members of the Sun International MVG Programme.
It remains the responsibility of the players to mark their card/s correctly and announce a “full” card by identifying themselves as a winner.
If two or more players simultaneously announce themselves as possible winners after a particular spin, the appropriate prize amount will be shared equally by the winning players upon identification and verification.
If a number is repeated, i.e., the same number occurring more than once during the game, the duplicate spins will be discarded.
To claim a “full” Flamingo Roulette Card, the card holder must be present at the promotion and must present themselves to the responsible person along with picture identification or personalised MVG card.
The corresponding top copy must be found in the designated area in order to have a valid prize claim or else the guests(s) will be disqualified, and the game will continue.
Guests must buy a ticket at the cash desk for R30 in order to enter.
Ticket purchasing closes 15 minutes prior to the start of each promotional session.
Entries cannot be obtained through points or through any other form of consideration.
No late entries will be accepted. Ticket entry closes 5 minutes prior to the start of each promotional session.
Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
All decisions are final and binding. However, correspondence or appeals can be referred to the General Manager for adjudication and if still not satisfied to the NCGB thereafter.
In the event of technical failure or damage to the device/s used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
In the event of a verification stub being damaged/destroyed to such an extent as to make verification impossible, the ticket will be deemed null and void.
Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
