Mechanics

  1. Horse Race will run every Thursday, from 06 February until 29 May 2025 at 19h00 and 21h00.

  2. All Sun MVG cardholders playing slots on the Gaming MVG floor on the promotional day and between these times will stand a chance of winning.

  3. XtraPlay will be paid out electronically.

  4. Races will be shown on i-views. 

  5. Winning guests will receive their portion of the below prize pool for each event on each Thursday.

  1. Should there be multiple winners on the selected horses the prize pool will be split amongst the winning guests.

  2. After meeting the qualifying criteria, guests can select their horse on the iView of their slot machine or via the ticket kiosks

  3. The horse race will be shown on the Big Screen on the gaming floor

  4. There will be 14 horses per session available for the guests to choose from

  5. The horses will each be numbered and have a name  

  6. Each guest must choose 1 horse from the 14 available horses

  7. If the horse that the guest chooses finishes 1st, the guest wins the 1st prize

  8. If the horse that the guest chooses finishes 2nd, the guest wins the 2nd prize 

  9. If the horse that the guest chooses finishes 3rd, the guest wins the 3rd prize

  10. If there is more than one winner, the prize money will be split amongst the winners

  11. Prize money does not rollover

  12. All prize money is XtraPlay and will be paid automatically into the customer’s account.

Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the Derby Dash gaming promotion (“gaming promotion”).

  2. This gaming promotion is exclusive to Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this gaming promotion. 

  1. Sun MVG members must earn MVG points whilst using use their MVG cards during the gaming promotion in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme.  

  2. A maximum of Five entries will be allowed per Sun MVG member during the promotion.

  3. Sun MVG members must earn 2 MVG points during the specific period to be eligible for entry into the race which is to be held during the advertised time(s). 

  4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.

  5. Participants must activate their entry into the race(s), on the day of the race(s) prior to the actual race(s) within the specified times. 

  6. Winnings are paid in XtraPlay only. 

  7. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  8. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. 

  9. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.

  10. It is possible for technical failures or system malfunctions to occur. In such instances Windmill casino, its management, employees or agents shall not accept any liability for any damages or claim whatsoever and howsoever arising from the aforegoing occurrences.

  11. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.

  12. Every participant in the gaming promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation. 

  13. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights.

  14. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law.
