  • The promotion will run from Thursday to Sunday 17h00 to 22h00 during the promotional period.
  • For the purpose of the tournament, it will be a R10 table and normal table limits apply.
  • Entries open to Sun MVG members only who has made buy-ins on the day.
  • Buy-ins will be conducted at the cash desk, from 08h00 to 23h30 daily at R250 per entry.
  • Buy-ins will contribute to the prize value.
  • Entries are not limited. Each buy-in gives a player a new chance to beat any of the Top 7 scores on the leader board, even if a score is their own.
  • Each entry is unique and should be used on the day of purchase only.
  • Participants will produce their receipt at the promotional table to the Inspector, who will then stamp to redeem.
  • Once verified, the participant will receive 100 colour chips.
  • Participants will get 10 spins per entry and at the end of the round their scores will be recorded.
  • The Inspector sheet must be completed for every entrant and their score recorded even if it is zero

Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the Roulette Rivals tournament (“tournament”).
  2. This tournament is exclusive to Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires may not participate in the Roulette Rivals tournament.
  3. Participants will have to buy-in at the cash desk for R500 per entry which commences on 08 September and terminates on 30 November 2024 by playing tables whilst using their Sun MVG cards in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme. The afore going dates commence and terminate in line with the gaming day of the casino.
  1. Each buy-in is unique and gives a player a new chance to beat any of the Top 7 scores on the leaderboard, even if a score is their own.
  2. The entrant must play a minimum of 1 chip per spin.
  3. No even chance bets, columns or dozens may be played.
  4. No call bets are allowed, and the entrant must place their own bets.
  5. All bets must be played before the ball is spun.
  6. Only colour chips can be played, no competition value chips can be used as a bet.
  7. Entrants may only play one colour.
  8. Guest may enter as many times as they wish and can have multiple positions on the leaderboard.
  9. Entries are not transferrable and not refundable.
  10. Entry Slips are valid only within the same month of purchase and limited to that respective month’s tournament.  
  11. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
  12. Participants consent by virtue of their participation that their personal information, including but not limited to, their name, surname, and/or Sun MVG number, being announced or displayed by the casino.
  13. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
  14. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. A dispute/complaint may be lodged with ECGB.
  15. Any person transgressing the rules of this tournament will be disqualified.
  16. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the tournament for the selection of prizes, finalists, and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management.
  17. Every participant in the tournament shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  18. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights including but not limited to enforcing these rules in future or similar circumstances that resulted in the exception or deviation concerned.
  19. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
  20. These rules are the official rules for this tournament and supersede any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the Sun MVG Desk upon request and at suninternational.com.
  21. Management reserves the right to terminate this tournament without prior notice and without any compensation, or to enhance prizes or increase the number of prizes or vary other aspects of the tournament where such changes benefit the participants (excluding earning criteria).
