Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the Father’s Day tournament promotion.
  2. This promotional competition is exclusive to male Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this promotional competition.
  3. We will draw 12 winners at 18h00, 19h00 and 20h00. The print cut off is,17h14 for the first draw, 18h45 for the second draw and 19h45 for the last draw.
  4. Each Male participant will receive a free entry to the manual draws on the day, limited to one ticket per person.  
  1. The draw will be a manual draw.
  2. Tournaments will take place straight after each draw.
  3. Men will participate in each heat of the tournament, there will be a total of 6 heats.
  4. There will be a leaderboard for all the combined scores.  The 6 highest scores at the end of all the tournaments will win prizes.
  5. There will be a consolation prize for the remaining 30 participants.
  6. A total of R25 000 in cash and R25 000 in Xtra play will be given away on the 13th of June.
  7. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
  8. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
  9. The respective draw times and dates, and points earning criteria to qualify for entry will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotional competition.
  10. Prize winners must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket receipt, MVG card belonging to the winner; and SA ID book/Card, valid SA Driver’s License or valid Passport when coming to collect their prize.  Under certain circumstances and at management’s discretion, ID verification can also be done via CMP, should a guest fail to produce an original ID and provided they have an ID on the current system
  11. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
  12. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  13. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  14. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for the selection of prizes, finalists, and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management.
  15. Every participant in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation. This version of the rules are the official rules and supersedes any other document purporting to be rules for this promotional competition.
  16. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights.
  17. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
  18. These rules are the official rules for this promotional competition and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the Sun MVG Desk upon request and at suninternational.com.
  19. Management reserves the right to terminate this promotional competition without prior notice.
