Mechanics

  • Earn 150 casino points across the gaming floor in the prior 2 weeks for entry into the weekly Friday Qualifying draws on Fridays at 22h00 or the 4 bonus draws.
  • Qualifying draws take place at 22h00 every Friday, in the Prive. (excluding 30 January)
  • Entries are uncapped.
  • At each qualifying draw, 10 selected winners will win R10 000 cash, plus an entry into the final draw taking place on 27 March 2026 at 22h00. 
  • Bonus draws for 10 tickets into the Mercedes C 200 draw will be held on 27 March 2026 at  19h00, 20h00, 21h00 and 21h30.
  • Top 50 Prive Tables and Top 50 Prive Slots earners for January, Top 50 Prive Tables and Top 50 Prive Slots earners for February and Top 50 Prive Tables and Top 50 Prive Slots earners for March, will each win a final draw entry for 27 March, 22h00.
  • On 27 March 2026, 10 finalists will be drawn and together with the 2 guaranteed entrants, will stand to win the Mercedes C 200 & a share of R150 000 in cash, by way of a manual draw.
  • There will be a total of 12 finalists for the Mercedes C 200 car draw at 22h00.
  • 10 guests will win R10 000 each, runner up wins R50 000 and the winner gets the Mercedes C 200.

Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the qualifying and final draw for the Mercedes C 200.
  2. This promotional competition is exclusive to Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this promotional draw
  3. Participants earn 150 casino points, anywhere on the casino floor, in the prior 2 weeks to qualify for entry into the qualifying and bonus draws.
  1. Entries are not capped. 
  2. Participants can qualify for the promotion which commences on 1 January and terminates on 27 March 2026 by playing slots or tables whilst using their Sun MVG cards in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme. The aforegoing dates commence and terminate in line with the gaming day of the casino.
  3. Qualifying Draws take place every Friday between 2 January and 27 March 2026, excluding 30 January.
  4. 10 winners are selected at each qualifying draw, and the entries are placed in the tombola for the final draw.
  5. Top 50 Prive Tables and Top 50 Prive Slots earners for January, Top 50 Prive Tables and Top 50 Prive Slots earners for February and Top 50 Prive Tables and Top 50 Prive Slots earners for March, will each win a final draw entry for 27 March, 10pm. Earning period for January – 1 to 31 January. Earning period for February – 1 to 28 Feb. Earning period for March – 1 to 24 March. Top earners will be contacted 2 days after the end of the earning period, to collect, and enter their final draw entries.
  6. Final draw takes place on 27 March 2026, at 22h00.
  7. Bonus draws take place on 27 March at 19h00, 20h00, 21h00, and 21h30. No cash will be given away at the Bonus draws.
  8. At the final draw on 27 March at 22h00 there will be a total of 12 finalists who will stand a chance to win the Mercedes CLA 200 and cash. 10 finalists will be selected via a manual draw, and 2 finalists will be selected via points earning (top Tables & top Slots points earners from 1 January to 25 March)
  9. 10 Finalists will win R10 000 each, the runner up will win R50 000 and one finalist will win the Mercedes C 200.
  10. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
  11. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
  12. Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw for the qualifying weekly and bonus draws. Participants who are present for the draw must present themselves to the promotional jockey within 120 seconds of their names being drawn. The participant concerned must produce the corresponding printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG card or identification document to be eligible for the prize. The finalists for the final draw on 27 March at 22h00, will be selected via manual draw (x10), and points earning (x2)
  13. A participant who does not wish to be present at the draw must opt-out of being present for each draw and must furthermore nominate a proxy for each respective draw to represent him/her at the draw by completing a proxy form prior to the draw subject to the terms and conditions set out in the proxy form. Only the participant who was selected as the winner (and not the proxy) will be entitled to the prize(s) subject to these rules. Proxies may only be nominated after participants have entered their tickets for a particular draw.
  14. Proxy forms can only be completed 5 hours before a manual draw or when the draw tickets are available for printing for electronic draws, on the day of the draw.
  15. The Proxy is limited to represent only one participant on a particular draw day. This will prevent a single proxy acting on behalf of multiple participants on the same day draw.
  16. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s) on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which entry is open. The opening and closing times for the entry to the draw(s) will be advertised through mediums used by the casino.
  17. The respective draw times and dates, and points earning criteria to qualify for entry tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotional competition.
  18. In the event that the promotional competition provides prize winners the opportunity to risk their prize for a higher value prize or another prize altogether, the prize winner concerned will not be compensated for losing the prize he/she risked. In such instance, the prize concerned will be returned to the prize pool.
  19. Participants consent by virtue of their participation that their personal information, including but not limited to, their name, surname, and/or Sun MVG number, being announced or displayed by the casino.
  20. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
  21. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  22. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  23. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for the selection of prizes and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management.
  24. Every participant/proxy in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  25. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights including but not limited to enforcing these rules in future or similar circumstances that resulted in the exception or deviation concerned.
  26. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
  27. These rules are the official rules for this promotional competition and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at suninternational.com.
  28. Management reserves the right to terminate this promotional competition without prior notice and without any compensation, or to enhance prizes or increase the number of prizes or vary other aspects of the promotional competition where such changes benefit the participants (excluding  earning criteria).
