Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotional competition.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a banning order or who is self-excluded or who fall into category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotional competition.
  3. This promotional competition is exclusive to Sun MVG members and is closed to any persons who are directors, member partners, employee agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouse life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. Promotional Competition will consist of three activation elements: Mystery Jackpots, Cash Draw and Poetry Competition.

MYSTERY JACKPOTS

a.       Members must actively play Slots or Tables using their valid Sun MVG card during the promotional period to qualify for Valentines Mystery Jackpots on 11 February 2022 from 5pm – 7pm.

b.       There will be 10 Slots and 10 Tables players to be randomly selected through Mystery Engine.

CASH DRAW

a.       Members must play Slots or Tables using their valid Sun MVG card during the promotional period, earn 5 points to qualify for a Cash Draw on 12 February 2022 at 6pm.

b.       During the Cash Draw, qualified members will be issued with 1 draw ticket for every 5 points earned.

c.        Members will stop earning points for the Cash Draw at 5:30pm on the day and can start printing draw tickets from 8:00am – 5:45pm.

d.       Draw will be electronically operated using a random draw device.

e.       The customer must present a draw ticket and SA Identity document, SA Driver’s license or Passport unless their identity document is on record with the casino in which case, they may present their Sun MVG card. The casino will verify its records for an identity document, if no identity document is on record a re-draw will occur after the 120 seconds has expired.

f.         Should the prize winner not present themselves within 120 seconds a re-draw will occur and the prize winner who is not present shall then forfeit the prize.

POETRY COMPETITION

a.       Poetry Competition will be activated from the 11 – 14 February 2022.

b.       Interested persons to write a love poem (an original piece) of 100 – 150 words to show off their creativity.

c.        Deposit your poem in the entry bins provided on the gaming floor at Soho hotel.

d.       Entries will close at 10am on the 14 February 2022.

e.       Winners will be notified on the 14 February at 11am.

f.         Winners do not have to be physically present. The Promotions Department will contact and notify them.

  1. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  2. All decisions are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entered.
  3. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  4. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management.
  5. Every participant in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.

Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the St Valentine’s Day Celebration.
  2. This promotional competition is exclusive to Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this promotional competition.
  3. Participants earn points to qualify for entry tickets during the promotional period which commences on 07 Feb and terminates on 14 Feb 2026 by playing slots or tables whilst using their Sun MVG cards in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme. The aforegoing dates commence and terminate in line with the gaming day of the casino.
  1. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. The number of valid entries are not limited.
  2. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
  3. Finalists will be selected by way of random draw prior to the draw for prize winners. The finalists must present themselves to the promotional jockey within 120 seconds of their names being drawn. The afore-going finalists must produce the corresponding printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG card or identification document to confirm their eligibility to be a finalist. The eligible finalists may opt out of being present at the draw where the prize winners will be determined by completing the opt out register for the corresponding draw.
  4. If a finalist is not present for the finalist draw or does not present himself or herself within the specified time with the corresponding printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG card or identification document; or if he or she cannot be identified by the casino in the above manner within the 120 seconds concerned, a redraw will occur for another finalist. The prize winners will thereafter be selected from the eligible finalists by way of another random draw or through any other draw mechanics used to determine the prize winner(s), as the case may be.
  5. The respective draw times and dates, and points earning criteria to qualify for entry tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotional competition.
  6. Where applicable, in instances where the finalist has opted out the last podium, envelope, key or other option used to select the prize winner(s) or prize(s) will be issued to that finalist that opted out by default of the other finalists choosing first.
  7. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s) on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which entry is open. The opening and closing times for the entry to the draw(s) will be advertised through mediums used by the casino.
  8. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 120 seconds a re-draw will occur and the prize winner who is not present shall forfeit the prize without any compensation.
  9. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
  10. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  11. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  12. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for the selection of prizes, finalists, and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management.
  13. Every participant in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation. This version of the rules are the official rules and supersedes any other document purporting to be rules for this promotional competition.
  14. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights.
  15. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
  16. These rules are the official rules for this promotional competition and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the Sun MVG Desk upon request and at suninternational.com.
  17. Management reserves the right to terminate this promotional competition without prior notice.
