Derby Dash Tuesdays

4. Sun MVG members must earn Slots points whilst using use their MVG cards during the gaming promotion in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme.
5. A maximum of Five entries will be allowed per Sun MVG member during the promotion.
6. Sun MVG members must earn Slots points during the specific period to be eligible for entry into the race which is to be held during the advertised time(s).
7. This gaming promotion excludes all slot machines within the Prive(s) at the participating casinos and will commence on 23 January 2024 and will terminate on 30 April 2024.
8. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
9. Participants must activate their entry into the race(s), on the day of the race(s) prior to the actual race(s) within the specified times.
10. Winnings are paid in Xtra Play only.
11. Prizes are awarded as described in the corresponding casino’s prize schedule which may not necessarily be identical to other participating casinos. The relevant information may be sought from the casino(s) concerned.
12. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
13. Progressive draw winners will be selected by way of manual draw. The winner must present themselves to the promotional jockey within 120 seconds of their names being drawn. The afore-going finalists must produce the corresponding printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG card and identification document to confirm their eligibility to be a winner.
14. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing the following when signing or receipt of their prizes: For South African citizens : a valid SA ID book/ ID card or a valid SA driver’s license. For Non- South African citizens / foreign nationals : a valid passport or government issued refugee permit
15. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 120 seconds a re-draw will occur and the prize winner who is not present shall forfeit the prize without any compensation.
16. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
17. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
18. It is possible for technical failures or system malfunctions to occur. In such instances the “participating casino”, its management, employees or agents shall not accept any liability for any damages or claim whatsoever and howsoever arising from the afore going occurrences.
19. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
20. Every participant in the gaming promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
21. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights.
22. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
23. These gaming promotion rules are the official rules for this gaming promotion and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the Sun MVG Desk upon request and at suninternational.com.
24. Management reserves the right to terminate this gaming promotion without prior notice.

Progressive Race Rules

25. To enter the Derby Dash progressive race guest, need to insert their weekly race day tickets into the allocated Tombola after each weekly race.
26. Therefore, for this promotion guests will only be allowed to redeem their tickets from the promo Kiosk instead of the iView as they will need to place their entries into the Tombola after the race.
27. Tickets are the responsibility of the ticket holder, and No re-print tickets will be allowed in the draw. If there is a ticket printing error, a supervisor must be called to verify that a ticket did not print before issuing a re-print. This re-print must be signed and stamped by the supervisor before being placed into the tombola.
28. On the 30th of April 2024, a manual draw will be conducted before the progressive race to select the 14 participants of this virtual race. 
29. 14 tickets will be manually drawn from a tombola.
30. Each guest whose ticket is drawn will pick a number of a horse that will run in a virtual race. 14 horses will run a virtual race on the track.
31. At the end of the race, prize money will be split among the 14 participants.
