At Sibaya we offer a range of casino table games including Roulette, Poker, Blackjack and Baccarat. I am excited to introduce our latest game, Call Card 52. This is the casino version of a very popular local informal game called “52”, it is an easy game to learn and great fun to play, visit the Call Card 52 games room at the main entrance and ask one of our dealers how to play, we bet you’ll love it!

Table minimums: We offer a R 100 minimum table and a R 200 minimum table

How to enter

  • Play on Main Floor Tables to earn tables points from 12 September to  19 September.
  • Points can be earned by playing any table game on the main floor.
  • The Top 32 Main Floor Tables Casino Points earners will receive an invite to the tournament.
  • The Top 50 Main Floor Tables Casino Point earners will qualify for a  Cash Draw.

Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in SIBAYA’S CALL CARD 52 TOURNAMENT promotional competition (“promotional competition”).
  2. This promotional competition is exclusive to MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this promotional competition.
  3. Participants must earn Tables Points by playing on Main Floor Tables (smoking & non-smoking) from 12 September 2025 to 19 September 2025 for a chance to compete in Sibaya’s CC52 Tournament.
  1. Points can be earned by playing any table game on the main casino floor (smoking & non-smoking).
  2. Points cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
  3. Sibaya’s CC52 Tournament is a points chase (Top 32 Point Earners).
  4. A leaderboard will display the top 50 main floor tables point earners, their positions, account numbers and running points earned.
  5. Their rankings will be calculated using their accumulated tables casino points earned during the qualifying period.
  6. The leaderboard will be updated daily.
  7. Participants may only occupy one position on the leaderboard
  8. At the end of the qualifying period, the Top 50 Main Floor Tables Casino Points earners will be determined after the leaderboard has been fully updated and verified by management.
  9. The top 32 tables point earners at the end of the qualifying period (12 – 19 September 2025) will receive an invite to Sibaya’s Call Card 52 Tournament
  10. The top 50 tables point earners at the end of the qualifying period (12 – 19 September 2025) will receive an entry into the Cash Draw.
  11. It is possible for malfunctions to occur in respect of the leaderboard or system used to calculate the Casino Points earned or delays may occur in the updating of the ranking. The rankings displayed on the leaderboard are not final until such time that management has verified and confirmed the same. Any person who relies on the rankings prior to management confirming same does so at his/her own risk.
  12. The top 32 tables point earners will be notified of their qualification on 20 September 2025.
  13. The tournament is exclusive to invited guests only.
  14. Qualifying participants will receive seat numbers via an independent random draw for each heat.
  15. Any invitee who is not present when the heats and seats are drawn will be given a grace period of ten (10) minutes to appear for verification after which that invitee will be disqualified from the heat concerned. At least four (4) Players will be required for the heat to be held. However, replacements can be taken from the qualifier list in order for a heat to be held.
  16. There will be 4 heats consisting of only 32 invited players who will be competing as 8 players per heat.
  17. A player must be seated at the position which was determined by the heats and seats draw
  18. There will be no cash/ buy-ins. All players will be playing in accordance with rules which are described above.
  19. Each participant will receive equal amount of playing chips, R5 000.
  20. All the bets are to be placed with non-cash value tournament chips (“tournament chips”) or color chips used for the tournament. The tournament chips or color chips have no value outside of the tournament and is not redeemable for any consideration
  21. e tournament, the chips concerned must be visible During thon the gaming table surface and they cannot be carried away from the gaming table. Exchanging or lending chips between players is not allowed
  22. If a player exits the game, he/she must hand all chips to the Tournament Director
  23. A hand is valid only if a player places it with his/her own chips. If a player places a hand on another player’s behalf, that hand shall be deemed invalid and will not be accepted
  24. The players are not allowed to discuss betting strategy, specifically collusive betting arrangements between players is prohibited and if such conduct ensues that relevant player may be disqualified
  25. The tournament rules are binding on all players.  Any breach of those rules may constitute a disqualification of the player(s) concerned from the heat or the entire tournament
  26. In case of a tie, a bonus hand will occur. The player with the highest ranking score then qualifies for advancement. If there is no winner, players shall continue with further hands until a winner is declared
  27. In the event that a situation arises which has not been addressed in these rules the Tournament Director shall apply discretion to resolve the matter
  28. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
  29. A participant who does not wish to be present at the tournament may nominate a proxy for draw(s) held on a specific day to represent him/her at the tournament by completing a proxy form prior to the tournament subject to the terms and conditions set out in the proxy form. Only the participant (and not the proxy) will be entitled to the prize(s) if any subject to these rules.
  30. The participant agrees that the proxy is only permitted to represent him/her at the tournament on a specific date. Where a proxy is representing multiple participants on the same tournament date, the corresponding participants will be disqualified. Where prizes were issued to a proxy that was representing multiple participants as aforesaid, the corresponding participant agrees to return the prize(s) to the casino without compensation.
  31. The respective tournament times and dates, and points earning criteria to qualify for entry tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotional competition.
  32. Participants consent by virtue of their participation that their personal information, including but not limited to, their name, surname, and/or Sun MVG number, being announced or displayed by the casino.
  33. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
  34. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  35. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  36. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for the selection of prizes and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management.
  37. Every participant/proxy in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  38. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights including but not limited to enforcing these rules in future or similar circumstances that resulted in the exception or deviation concerned.
  39. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
  40. These rules are the official rules for this promotional competition and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the MVG Desk upon request or at suninternational.com.
  41. Management reserves the right to terminate this promotional competition without prior notice and without any compensation, or to enhance prizes or increase the number of prizes or vary other aspects of the promotional competition where such changes benefit the participants (excluding earning criteria).
