Wednesday Cash draws

  • A total share of R25 000 in cash is to be won on Wednesdays from 9 February to 4 May 2022.
  • Top 5 point earners weekly will stand a chance to win a share of R10 000 in cash,
  • 5 finalists will be draw from the draw system and will stand a chance to win a share of R15 000 in cash.

Wednesday Heartbeat On a Roll

  • A share of R20 000 in Xtra play is to be rewarded during the Heartbeat on a Roll promotion which is exclusive to Sun MVG Platinum and Gold MVGs.
  • Qualifying guests playing on qualifying slot machines need to fill up their circle by achieving a handle of R4 500 from 8pm and activate their entry by selecting their winning prize, once the R20 000 in Xtra play has been rewarded then the promotion will automatically come to an end.
  • Note that play on Slots Banks 104 and 121 are excluded from this promotion.

Top Point earners rewards

  • The Top 5 Diamond card holders per month will be rewarded with a share of R40 000 in Xtra play, Point earning from 2 February to 2 March, 2 March to 2 April and 2 April to 2 May 2022.
  • The Top 5 Platinum card holders per month will be rewarded with a share of R27 000 in Xtra play. Point earning from 2 February to 2 March, 2 March to 2 April and 2 April to 2 May 2022.
  • The top 5 Gold card holders per month will be rewarded with a share of R19 000 in Xtra play.  Point earning from 2 February to 2 March, 2 March to 2 April and 2 April to 2 May 2022.

Car draw

  • A Toyota Urban cruiser and a share of R70 000 in cash is to be won during the car draw taking place on the 30th April 2022.
  • The top 5 points earners from 2nd February (06:45) until the 25th April 2022 (06:45) will automatically be finalists in the car draw taking place on the 30th April 2022 at 7 pm.
  • In addition to this, 5 winners will be called via E-draw, Sun MVGs must earn 50 casino points from the 2nd February (06:45) until the 25th April 2022 (06:45).
  • A total of 10 prizes will be issued for the draw. Note that a top point earner can also win a prize in the E-draw and is eligible to pick a envelop and have 2 prizes.

Platinum and Gold rewards

  • A total share of R40 000 in Xtra play is to be rewarded to Platinum and Gold Sun MVGs on the 30th April from 8pm.
  • Platinum Sun MVGs will be rewarded a total share of R25 000 in Xtra play (25 x R1 000 rewards), during the Platinum Pop a Balloon promotion.
  • Gold Sun MVGs will participate in the “Play to Get promotion where a share of R15 000 in Xtra play is to be rewarded. Guests must spend R500 to receive 100 in Xtra play with a Maximum of 2 rewards per qualifying player. A total of 150 rewards will be available. The promotion will automatically end once the total share of R15 000 in Xtra play has been won.

Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in the The Heartbeat Goes on promotional competition (“promotional competition’). Any person who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotional competition.
  2. This promotional competition is exclusive to Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  3. Participants earn points to qualify for entry tickets during the promotional period from 1 June to 31 August 2022 by playing slots or tables whilst using their Sun MVG cards in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme. The aforegoing dates commence and terminate in line with the gaming day of the casino (06h45 each day).
  1. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. The number of valid entries is limited to 100 tickets per draw.
  2. A share of R20 000 in Xtra Play rewards is up for grabs on Sundays from 5 June 2022 to 28 August 2022, Sun MVGs must earn 1 casino point on the day and activate their entry by selecting their winning horse number on the iView or self-help kiosk from 10h00 to 14h45 on the promotional day. Points earning on Slots banks 104, 121 are excluded from this promotional competition.
  3. A share of R10 000 in Xtra Play rewards is up for grabs on Mondays from 06 June 2022 to 29 August 2022, Sun MVGs must earn 1 casino point on the day and activate their entry by selecting their winning horse number on the iView or self-help kiosk from 10h00 to 14h45 on the promotional day. Points earning on Slots banks 104, 121 are excluded from this promotional competition.
  4. The Heartbeat goes on Power winners promotion will take place on Wednesdays from 8 June to 31 August 2022 from 9pm. A share of R20 000 in Xtra Play rewards is to be rewarded during the promotion. Guests who have qualified for the weekly Wednesday draw on the promotional day will be eligible to participate in the Heartbeat goes on Power winner promotion. To participate and stand a chance in winning in this promotion, qualifying guests must play a qualifying Slot machine from 21h00 on the promotional day. Slots machines on bank 104 and 121 are excluded from this promotion.  
  5. The Top 5 points-earners in a preceding week (Wednesday 06h45 to Wednesday 06h45) commencing on 1 to 8 June 2022 at 06h45 will be eligible to select an envelope to reveal their share of R10 000 in cash. The cash prizes are as follows: R3 000, R2 000, R2 000, R1 500 and R1 500 winners will randomly select a prize.
  6. Draw will commence on 8 June 2022 until 31 August 2022 and will be held at 20h00 on each applicable Wednesday.
  7. At the above Wednesday cash draw, a further five (5) entries will be randomly drawn to win a share of R15 000 in cash. The Top 5 points earners mentioned above may also participate in this draw. To qualify participants must earn at least 3 casino points weekly. The casino points will be calculated from Wednesday, 1 June (6h45) to Wednesday, 8 June (6h45), and thereafter each week (Wed to Wed) in succession of each other until 31 August 2022. Entries must be activated on each day on which the draw takes place to be eligible to participate in the draw. The cash prizes are as follows: R5 000, R3 500, R3 000, R2 000 R1 500. Guests will randomly select a prize.
  8. The overall Top 5 points-earners for the period 1 June (06h45) until 20 August 2022 (06h45) will automatically become finalists for the car draw that will be held on 26 August 2022 at 20h00. At the car draw, a further five (5) finalists will be randomly drawn to participate in that draw. If a finalist who automatically qualified for car draw is selected in the drawn for the further five finalists, that finalist will have two (2) opportunities in the car draw. Put simply, the afore-going top 5 points-earners may also participate in the second draw for finalists. To be eligible for selection as one of the further five (5) finalists, participants must earn at least 50 casino points from 1 June (6h45) until 20 August 2022 (6h45). Entries must be activated on the day on which the draw takes place to be eligible to participate in the draw. The prizes are as follows for the car draw: Renault Kwid (Renault Kwid 1.0l Expression 50kw) as quoted, 1 (one) x R30 000 in cash and 8 (eight) x R5 000 in cash.
  9. The car draw is a Renault Kwid 1.0l Expression 50kw as quoted and a share of R70 000 as per the above. The finalists will be required to select envelopes each of which will contain a prize description inside. The finalist who selects an envelope with the word “Car” inside will be declared the winner of the car prize, and the same process will be followed for the cash prizes. The order to select the envelopes will correspond with the number of points earned from highest to lowest (for the automatic finalists) followed by the further five finalists in the order in which they were drawn, taking into consideration any opt-outs, in which case the opt-out selection mechanism will be applied.
  10. A proxy will only be permitted to play on behalf of a participant in the instance where a participant has gained a qualifying position into the car draw in instances where the participant is not be able to attend. The affected participant must activate their entry into the draw and complete the proxy form from 12h00 until 19h45 on the day of the draw and he/she must sign the nomination form prior to the draw. 
  11. The proxy will only be allowed for the car draw taking place on the 26th August 2022 at 8pm and the nominated proxy participant will act on behalf of the qualifying participant and follow the draw mechanism.
  12. A total share of R30 000 in Xtra Play is available to be rewarded to eligible players on 26 August 2022 from 21h00 during Power Winners Stage Games promotional competition. The slots machine will lock while MVG’s are playing on the main casino floor slots machines (except slot machines located on banks 104 and 121, which are excluded from the promotional competition) and we will call the customer to play the stage. A total of 20 Customers will be called.
  13. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
  14. Participants/finalists may opt out of being present at the draw where the prize winners will be determined by completing the opt out register for the corresponding draw.
  15. If a prize winner who has not opted out is not present for the draw or does not present himself or herself within the specified time a redraw will occur for another prize winner. The prize winner who is not present will forfeit the prize without compensation.
  16. The respective draw times and dates, and points earning criteria to qualify for entry tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotional competition.
  17. Where applicable, in instances where a finalist has opted out the last podium, envelope, key or similar item used to select the prize winner or prize(s) (“selection mechanism”) will be issued to that finalist that opted out by default of the other finalists choosing first. Where there is more than one opted-out finalist, then the respective finalists will be contacted in the order that they became finalists to utilise the available selection mechanisms to select their prize(s).  
  18. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s) on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the entry bins are open. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through mediums used by the casino.
  19. Prize winners who are present will be given 180 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and Sun MVG card. Only the lawful cardholder is entitled to the prize(s) subject to these rules.
  20. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign positively identify themselves when signing for receipt of prizes.
  21. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  22. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  23. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for selection of prizes, finalists and prize winners irrespective of the cause thereof another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management.
  24. Every participant in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation, are deemed to have consented to their names and/or Sun MVG member being announced or displayed in the above manner.
  25. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
