Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    • Mondays: 4, 11, 18, and 25 July 2022 | 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 August 2022.
    • Time | 20h00 and 21h00.
    • Ticket Issue | from 12h00 on each respective draw day.
    • Earning period | 06h45 on 4 July to 06h45 23 August 2022.

WEEKLY DRAWS – 4, 11, 18 and 25 JULY & 1, 8, 15 and 22 AUGUST

  • MVG members will receive free ticket allocation based on card type:
    • Silver MVG members will receive two (2) tickets entry into the draws.
    • Gold MVG members will receive four (4) tickets entry into the draws.
    • Platinum MVG members will receive six (6) tickets entry into the draws.
    • Diamond MVG members will receive eight (8) tickets entry into the draws.

FINALE DRAW – 29 AUGUST

  • MVG members can earn one (1) ticket for every 15 casino points earned during the earning period in order to qualify for the draws taking place on 29 August 2022.

PLUS

  • MVG members will receive free ticket allocation based on card type:
    • Silver MVG members will receive two (2) tickets entry into the draws.
    • Gold MVG members will receive four (4) tickets entry into the draws.
    • Platinum MVG members will receive six (6) tickets entry into the draws.
    • Diamond MVG members will receive eight (8) tickets entry into the draws.
  1. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the draws on each respective draw day;
  2. Tickets will not be accumulated or carried forward to a subsequent draw and will only be valid for each respective draw;
  3. Prize winners will be selected by way of a random selection through E-draw;
  4. Draw announcements will be made on the casino floor and winners will be informed of prize collection location;
  5. Prize winners will be given 180 seconds (three minutes) to present themselves and must be in possession of their MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (Passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
  6. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds (three minutes), a redraw will take place;
  7. The total prize value of the promotion is R500 000 in cash;
  8. On each promotional day from 4 July 2022 to 22 August 2022 at 20h00, R25 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R3 000, R5 000, R7 000 and R10 000 respectively;
  9. On each promotional day from 4 July 2022 to 22 August 2022 at 21h00, R25 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R3 000, R5 000, R7 000 and R10 000 respectively;
  10. On 29 August 2022 at 20h00, R50 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R5 000, R10 000, R15 000 and R20 000 respectively;
  11. On 29 August 2022 at 21h00, R50 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R5 000, R10 000, R15 000 and R20 000 respectively;
  12. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  13. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  14. Prizes are not transferable unless otherwise advertised;
  15. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  16. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  17. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  18. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  19. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
