Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  1. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  2. Actively play slots on the main casino floor (excluding the Privé) from 07h00 on 1 December 2018 to 07h00 on 15 December 2018 to stand a chance to win a share of up to R2 million rand in Xtra Play via mysteries. These mysteries will range from a minimum of R100 in Xtra Play to a maximum of R2 000 in Xtra Play daily;
  3. Play slots or tables and earn five (5) points from 07h00 on 1 December 2018 to 07h00 on 15 December 2018 to qualify for the cash and car draws on 17 and 18 December 2018;
  4. Participants are limited to a maximum of 50 ticket entries into the draws;
  5. The draw times are at 20h00, 21h00 and 22h00 for all qualifying Sun MVGs on Monday, 17 December 2018 and Tuesday, 18 December 2018;
  6. Winners will be selected by way of random selection through electronic draw;
  7. The total prize money for the draws on Monday, 17 December 2018 and Tuesday, 18 December 2018 is over R1 million rand in cash and cars;
  8. The prize money per day for the draw at 20h00 is R20 000 in cash consisting of R2 000,
  9. R 3 000, R4 000, R5 000 and R6 000 respectively;
  10. The prize money per day for the draw at 21h00 is R45 000 in cash consisting of R7 000,
  11. R8 000, R9 000, R10 000 and R11 000 respectively;
  12. The prize money per day for the draw at 22h00 is R60 000 in cash consisting of R15 000,
  13. R20 000 and R25 000 respectively.  The final ticket drawn will be for the car valued at over R430 000;
  14. Tickets will not be accumulated or carried forward to a subsequent draw and will only be valid for each individual draw;
  15. Tickets can be collected on the respective draw days from 12h00 until 15 minutes prior to the start of the draws;
  16. No shortfall of points will be taken into consideration;
  17. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  18. Prize winners who are present will be given 120 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of their Sun MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
  19. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 120 seconds, a redraw will take place;
  20. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
  21. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  22. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  23. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  24. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  25. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  26. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  27. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
