Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. Sun MVG members who actively play tables during the promotional period will be eligible;
  2. Sun MVG members must earn at least two casino points within the earning period to receive one ticket into the draw. For every additional two casino points earned thereafter, one additional ticket entry will be made available;
  3. Ticket entries are capped at 50 tickets per member;
  4. The promotion run on the following dates and times:
    • Earning period: 06h45 on 1 November to 06h45 on 25 November 2020
    • Ticket issue: From 12h00 on 27 November 2020
    • Draw date: Friday, 27 November 2020
    • Draw time: 21h00 and 22h00
  5. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the draws;
  6. The draws take place on the main non-smokers’ casino floor;
  7. Prize winners will be selected by way of random selection through Promo Exec;
  8. Prize winners will be given 180 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of their Sun MVG card and a valid picture identification (Passport, SA bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
  9. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds, a redraw will take place;
  10. The total prize value of this promotion is R150 000 in cash;
  11. At 21h00, R50 000 in cash will be given away consisting of five prizes to the value of R10 000 respectively;
  12. At 22h00, R100 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R10 000, R15 000, R20 000, R25 000 and R30 000 respectively;
  13. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  14. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  15. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
  16. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  17. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  18. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  19. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  20. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  21. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
