Grand Million Points Challenge

3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
5. Qualification for the finale dinner, as well as eligibility for any of the prizes won at the finale will be based upon Sun MVG casino points earned with the following criteria: Sun MVG casino points earned at GrandWest during the promotional period of 1 September 2019 to 30 November 2019;
6. Points are allocated to Sun MVG accounts only;
7. Both slots and tables casino points qualify for the GMPC;
8. Only the top 250 Sun MVG casino points earners based on the above criteria will be considered;
9. In the event of a tie for the 250th place, the tied Sun MVG casino points earners will all be included, notwithstanding the fact that this will result in more than 250 finalists;
10. Only valid Sun MVG casino points will be considered in the tally. Gaming management will conduct audits of casino points earned during the promotional period and prior to the finalisation of the top 250. Sun MVG casino points erroneously allocated will be rectified upon an audit of Sun MVG casino points earned;
11. The final list of qualifiers will be available by Monday, 2 December 2019;
12. Qualifiers will be contacted by VIP Services and informed of their status;
13. Prizes for the top three casino points earners will be paid over to them without them being required to be present at the gala dinner on Saturday, 14 December 2019;
14. The top three casino points earners share a total of R500 000 in cash consisting of R250 000, R150 000 and R100 000 respectively;
15. Qualifiers will need to be present at the draw in the Market Hall on Saturday, 14 December 2019 to be eligible to win the following prizes:
    • Around The World Holiday voucher worth R1.2 million;
    • A share of R460 000 in cash consisting of R100 000, R80 000, R70 000, R60 000, R50 000, R40 000, R30 000, R20 000 and R10 000 respectively;
    • Luxury prizes to the total value of R400 000 consisting of four luxury prizes valued at R100 000 each;
16. No form of proxy representative will be accepted for any of the draws attached to this promotion;
17. Flight Specials terms and conditions will apply to the main travel prize and the travel luxury prize;

Main Draw

1. One ticket will be issued to each of the top 250 qualifiers;
2. Each ticket will be uniquely numbered and will contain the name and Sun MVG account number of the qualifier;
3. The ticket will be issued to the qualifier on the night of the draw only and only at the point of registration;
4. Tickets are to be placed in the draw bin situated in the Market Hall. The draw bin will close 15 minutes prior to the draw;
5. Once drawn, the winner will be announced in the Market Hall only. The winner will have two minutes to identify themselves and claim the prize. After two minutes, if no-one has claimed the prize, a redraw will take place;
6. The winner will be required to present a valid picture identification (Passport, SA Identity Document – Green Barcoded ID or Card, or SA Driver’s License) and their Sun MVG card;
7. If the winner does not have a valid form of identification as per point 22 above, a redraw will take place;
8. Ten tickets will be drawn;
9. Participants will be called to the stage in the order in which they are drawn;
10. Each participant will select a number from 1 to 10;
11. Each number will represent the prize values (as reflected in point 14 above) randomly drawn and placed under the supervision of an auditor;
12. The participant who reveals the R1.2 million Around The World Holiday will be the winner of the main prize, with the remaining nine participants each receiving the other cash amounts as reflected in point 15.2. above;
13. Luxury Prizes Draws
14. The quantity of tickets issued per participant will be based upon the number of points earned during the promotional period;
15. Ticket quantities per person will be calculated on a ratio such that the person with the lowest quantity of points will still receive, at minimum, one ticket for every luxury item offered as a prize;
16. There will be one draw bin per prize available;
17. Tickets are to be placed in the respective draw bins situated in the Market Hall. The respective draw bins will close 15 minutes prior to the draw;
18. Participants may choose to place their tickets in any draw bin they choose. They can place a ticket in all the bins or concentrate their chance of winning by placing all their tickets in one bin;
19. The luxury goods tickets will be uniquely numbered and visibly different from the main cash draw ticket;
20. Once drawn, the winner will be announced in the Market Hall only. The winner will have two minutes to identify themselves and claim the prize. After two minutes, if no-one has claimed the prize, a redraw will take place;
21. The winner will be required to have a valid form of identification, as specified in point 22 above, and their Sun MVG card.
22. If the winner does not have a valid form of identification, a redraw will take place;

General

1. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draws, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be notified of any such change;
2. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
3. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
4. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
5. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
6. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
7. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
8. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
