How to participate

Feel the Heat Power Winners
Sun MVG members must actively play slots or tables during the promotion period to be eligible.

Feel the Heat Car and Cash Draws
Sun MVG members must earn at least five (5) casino points within the earning period to receive one ticket into the draw. For every additional five (5) casino points earned thereafter, one additional ticket entry will be made available.

Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. Feel the Heat Power Winners
    1. Sun MVG members must actively play slots or tables during the promotional period to be eligible;
    2. The promotion runs on the following dates and times: Date : Monday, 30 November 2020 to Saturday, 5 December 2020; and Monday, 7 December 2020 to Saturday, 12 December 2020 Time : 19h00 to 21h00
    3. The total prize value is R1 200 000 in Xtra Play over the promotional period; Each promotional day 50 winners will be randomly selected via Power Winners, each winning R2 000 in Xtra Play;
    4. Tables prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;

      3. Earning period: From 06h45 on Monday, 30 November 2020 to 06h45 on Friday, 4 December 2020 
      4. Ticket issue: From 12h00 on 6 December 2020
      5. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the respective draw days;

      1. Draw date: Sunday, 13 December 2020 
      2. Draw time: 20h00, 21h00 and 22h00
      3. Earning period: From 06h45 on Monday, 7 December 2020 to 06h45 on Friday, 11 December 2020 
      4. Ticket issue: Sunday, 13 December 2020 from 12h00
      5. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the respective draw days;
    6. The total prize value for the Feel the Heat Car and Cash Draws is R810 000;
    7. The total prize money for the daily draws at 20h00 is R10 000 in cash consisting of R1 000, R2 000, R3 000 and R4 000;
    8. The total prize money for the daily draws at 21h00 is R20 000 in cash consisting of R2 000, R4 000, R6 000 and R8 000;
    9. The total prize money for the daily draws at 22h00 is R30 000 in cash consisting of R5 000, R10 000 and R15 000 in cash and a car valued at R345 000;
    10. Twelve (12) prize winners per day will be selected by way of random selection through Promo Exec;
    11. Tickets will not be accumulated or carried forward to a subsequent draw and will only be valid for each respective draw;
    12. Draw announcements will be made on the casino floor and winners will be informed of prize collection location;
    13. Prize winners will be given 180 seconds (three minutes) to present themselves and must be in possession of their Sun MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (Passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
    14. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds (three minutes), a redraw will take place;
    15. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  3. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  4. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
  5. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  6. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  7. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  8. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  9. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
