Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. MVG members will receive a free ticket allocation based on card type:
    • Silver MVG members will receive one (1) ticket entry into the draws.
    • Gold MVG members will receive two (2) ticket entries into the draws.
    • Platinum MVG members will receive four (4) ticket entries into the draws.
    • Diamond MVG members will receive six (6) ticket entries into the draws.
    • MVG members can earn one (1) additional ticket for every five (5) casino points earned weekly.
    • MVG members must earn 20 casino points over the earning period in order to qualify for the finale draw.
  2. Participants are limited to a maximum of 50 ticket entries into the weekly and finale draws;
  3. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    • Earning period - 06h45 on Monday, 25 April 2022 to 06h45 on Monday, 27 June 2022.
    • Weekly draws - 19h00 and 20h00 every Tuesday from 3 May 2022 to 21 June 2022.
    • Finale draw - 20h00 Tuesday, 28 June 2022.
    • Ticket issue - From 12h00 on the respective draw days.
  4. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the draws on each respective draw day;
  5. Tickets will not be accumulated or carried forward to a subsequent draw and will only be valid for each respective draw day;
  6. Prize winners will be selected by way of a random selection through E-draw;
  7. Draw announcements will be made on the casino floor and winners will be informed of prize collection location;
  8. Prize winners will be given 180 seconds (three minutes) to present themselves and must be in possession of their MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (Passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
  9. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds (three minutes), a redraw will take place;
  10. The total prize value of this promotion is R500 000 in cash;
  11. On each weekly draw day at 19h00, R20 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R2 000, R4 000, R6 000 and R8 000 respectively;
  12. On each weekly draw day at 20h00, R30 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R8 000, R10 000 and R12 000 respectively;
  13. On the finale draw day at 20h00, R100 000 in cash will be given away consisting of five winners will be randomly selected, each winning R20 000 in cash respectively; 
  14. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  15. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  16. Prizes are not transferable;
  17. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  18. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  19. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  20. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  21. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  22. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
