Mechanics

  • Selection of five participants via EBS – Power Winners;
  • Each participant will be given a numbered lanyard, one to five, and will play the game in that order, as selected via the Power Winner mechanism;
  • Participants have two chances to select a box and reveal a prize from the 10-box promotional game tool;
  • The combined value of the prizes revealed will be the total amount of cash that the participant has won.
  • All 10 of the boxes contain cash prizes as per the prize split below.

Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. MVG members must actively play slots or tables on the main gaming floor during the promotional period to be eligible;
  2. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    • • Friday | 14, 21 and 28 June 2024     
    • • Mystery Selection | 19h00 to 21h00
    • • Game | 21h15
  3. The total prize value of this promotion is R90 000 cash;
  4. The total promotional prize value per day is R30 000 cash consisting of R2 000, R3 000, R4 000, R5 000, R6 000 and R10 000 respectively;
  5. Six participants will be randomly selected between 19h00 to 21h00 via Power Winners to play Ballslider Blast;
  6. Participants will be given a numbered lanyard, one to six;
  7. Participants will choose a specific colour ball from a bowl;
  8. The balls are then placed in the ball slider in the order in which they were chosen, released and whichever number the selected ball lands on has a prize corresponding with a numbered envelope in which the amounts were randomly placed;
  9. The prizes and prize winners will be verified by the slots or tables casino representative and auditor and the prize money will be paid to the winners;
  10. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  11. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  12. Prizes are not transferable;
  13. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  14. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  15. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  16. By virtue of participating in the promotion, every prize winner shall be deemed to have consented to announcements detailing their name and account numbers;
  17. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  18. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  19. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
