How to Enter

  • Guests will only receive a maximum of 3 entries. 
  • Guests who qualify will be allowed to choose only one horse per entry.
  • Guests will make the selection on the iview screen on any slot machine or at the e-ticket kiosk.
  • A guest can win three times in 1 race.
  • Guests must insert their MVG cards in any slot machine to claim their prizes.  

Draw Mechanics

  • In the event that there is a technical failure which affects the promotion, a draw will be held.
  • The draw will start at 15 minutes after the error has been identified.
  • Manual ticket issue will close at 5 minutes prior to the draw.
  • All tickets will be placed in a tombola.
  • 10 tickets will be drawn & the cash will be split between winners.

 

Qualifying Criteria

Silver cardholders

Earn 1 point between Friday at 08h00 and Saturday at 14h45 on any slot machine to qualify. The race will take place at 15h00.

Gold cardholders

Earn 2 points between Friday at 08h00 and Saturday at 17h45 on any slot machine to qualify. The race will take place at 18h00.

Gold cardholders must select their horses between 15h15 and 17h45.

Platinum & Diamond cardholders

Earn 3 points between Friday at 08h00 and Saturday at 19h45 on any slot machine to qualify. The race will take place at 20h00.

Platinum and Diamond cardholders must select their horses between 18h15 and 19h45.

Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self- excluded, or who fall into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  1. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  2. To qualify as a contestant guests have to be an MVG and have earned the stipulated points during the promotional period.
  3. Tickets will be issued using the iview screen on any slot machine.
  4. Ticket issue closes at 15 minutes prior to the race on the promotion day/night.
  5. The customer then chooses their combination on the iview screen.
  6. They choose three horses.
  7. On completion of the race, the winners will be shown on the screen.
  8. The system will select their winnings.
  9. Entries are valid on the respective draw date only.
  10. No late entries will be accepted.
  11. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
  12. Prize winners who are present must present themselves to the compere and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Club card belonging to the winner; and positive and acceptable form of identification.
  13. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  14. All decisions are final and binding. However, correspondence or appeals can be referred to the Northern Cape Gambling Board.
  15. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  16. In the event of a ticket being damaged/destroyed in any way, the ticket will be made null and void.
  17. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  18. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
