Bring the whole family for a fun morning walk/run at Sun Windmill, proudly brought to you by the Old Mutual Athletics Club Free State.

This is a Comrades Marathon Qualifier Race on a special South African Public Holiday – Human Rights Day.

Come and register for

5 km Race is R70 and start time 07h00

10 km Race is R110 plus R50 for a Temporary Road License and start time 06h30

21.1 km Race is R150 plus R50 for a Temporary Road License and start time 06h00.

42.2 km Race is R180 plus R50 for a Temporary Road License and start time 05h30.

Rules

1. Athletes must be members of an affiliated club to qualify as Category Winner
2. Club athletes dressed in club colours must wear an official ASA 2020 License number on the front and the back of their vest
3. Temporary numbers to be worn on the front of vest
4. Age restriction Min Age 21km 16y, Min Age 10km 14y, 42.2km is 20y
5. All marshals, traffic authorities and traffic rules must be obeyed-failing to do so may lead to disqualification
6. Check points on route (keep left at all times) is case of an emergency report to the next water point
7. All walker, runners participate at their own risk
8. Due to the nature of the course no wheelchairs, prams, blades animals, cyclist or mechanically operated devices are allowed excluding hearing aids
9. Age category tags must be worn on the front and back to qualify as category winner
10. Entry form must be completed in full, if not athlete will be disqualified from the race and will not receive a Medal or Price money, category winners MUST wear club kit at Price Giving
11. An emergency number of family member must be completed
12. Proof of age must be provided on race day is required, (Identity Book, Passport)
13. The organisers reserve the right to return any entry not in keeping with the spirit of the race
14. All winners need to attend price giving failing to comply with this will result in a forfeit of incentives
15. The decision of the organization will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into
16. Foreign athletes competing for price money must produce a clearance certificate from their nation bodies to compete in SA handed in, to the organisers before entering the race
17. Race Walkers need to wear tag – W if competing for price money
18. Environmental rule 28-Participants must take responsibility for their actions when disposing of litter, it can lead to Disqualification
