Stuart Reece rocks Guy Fieri’s at Time Square in July
A rocking good time is always a given at Guy Fieri’s Kitchen and Bar at Time Square in Menlyn, and even more so on Wednesdays nights when there is a live band on stage. Doing the honours in July, is enigmatic singer and guitarist Stuart Reece who from his first radio hit in 2011, “Love Song”, to the Algoa FM chart topper, “Silver Rocket Cadillac” and “Coming Home”, continues to wow audiences all over South Africa. His ingenious songwriting is enforced by his gentle Jack Johnson-like vocals, tasteful guitar playing and beautiful tone, and innovative use of guitar pedals.
Reece, solo and with his band, has played alongside many popular South African acts namely Elvis Blue, A-King, Dan Patlansky, Prime Circle, Lloyd Cele, Mi Casa, Jimmy Nevis, Kurt Darren, Gold Fish, Justin Serrao, Howie Combrink, Graham Watkins Project, Evolver One, The Arrows, Farrell Purkiss, Jesse Clegg, Taxi Violence, Southern Gypsy Queen, Meri Kenaz, Tony Cox, Steve Newman and Robin Auld.
While kicking back to his rocking tunes, guests can tuck into Guy Fieri’s off-the-hook, scratch-made food, signature craft beers and cocktails before hitting the dance floor or riding the mechanical bull – which incidentally is the first ever mechanical bull in a Guy Fieri restaurant.
Catch Stuart Reece every Wednesday night in July from 19h01 to 22h01. There is no cost to enjoy his performances.
