Career Awareness Campaign
Sun City hosted a Career awareness campaign on the 10 - 11 October 2018 working in collaboration with It Belongs to Me NGO, CK Tlhakanye Foundation and primary schools within Ledig Township. The primary objective was to expose learners to various career paths and enhance their knowledge regarding the professions. Learners were exposed to careers in the culinary, geology, aviation, psychology, landscaping, police (SAPS), Emergency Management Services, engineering, mining and many more.
Beneficiaries: Grade 7 learners from Ledig primary schools (Mphuphuthe, Ratheo, Bakubung, Mperebere, Bakgofa & Tshose)
Spent: R37, 520.00

Learners were introduced to careers such as aviation and had great fun on flight assimilators, courtesy of Aerobuddies.

Biodiversity, Arts & Culture Programme
Pupils from various secondary schools within the Moses Kotane area came to Sun City Resort to participate in a programme designed to complement their schools’ curriculum in social sciences (Geography and History) as well as arts and culture. A major part of the learning experience was about caring for the natural habitat as this is one of the main tourist attractions in the area.
Beneficiaries: 310 learners of Moses Kotane Secondary Schools.
