Ziyakhala Mo Sun City Returns This Winter, and the Party is On

Winter heats up as SunFest brings the rhythm of South Africa to life, with Ziyakhala Mo Sun City returning with an epic music takeover at the legendary Sun City Superbowl. Taking place on Saturday, 27 June 2026, the second annual event joins the SunFest line-up for a celebration of music, heritage, and national pride, adding to the season’s entertainment calendar.

This year’s event is set to be bigger, louder, and even more vibrant, bringing together some of Mzansi’s most celebrated artists for a powerful celebration of cultural diversity and indigenous sound.

Hosted in partnership with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and its African Language radio stations, Ziyakhala Mo Sun City continues its mission to celebrate South Africa’s rich musical tapestry. Broadcasting across nine official languages, the collaboration highlights the role of music in preserving culture, strengthening identity, and bringing people together.

The 2026 edition will once again honour a living legend of South Africa’s music industry, while delivering an electrifying lineup that reflects the country’s diverse sounds and styles.
