Whether you're after a coastal escape, a romantic retreat, or a family break, every direct booking made on the official Sun International website during this period automatically enters you into our Win Back Your Stay competition. Three lucky winners, one per month, will each receive a luxury return stay for the same number of nights (up to three), including breakfast, a possible room upgrade, and complimentary accommodation for up to two kids under 18.

COMPETITION RULES

Who Can Enter

  1. Open to all South African residents aged 18 years and older.
  2. Only individual entrants qualify. No business, group, or corporate bookings will be accepted.

How to Enter

  1. Automatically enter the competition by booking a stay at Sibaya Lodge between 15 July and 30 September 2025.
  2. Bookings must be made directly through the official Sun International website or app.
  3. Stays booked via third-party travel platforms or agents will not qualify.
  4. Guests must pay in full and complete their stay during the campaign period.
  5. One booking = one entry. Only the booking holder will be entered into the draw.

What You Could Win

  1. Each month, one winner will receive:
  2. A luxury return stay at Sibaya Lodge for the same number of nights as your original booking (up to a maximum of 3 nights).
  3. Accommodation in an upgraded room type (sea-facing if available), subject to availability.
  4. Breakfast included for each day of the stay.
  5. The winner may bring 1 adult guest and up to 2 children under 18 free of charge (same room).
  6. This prize gives you the chance to return to Sibaya for another relaxing retreat, soaking in the coastal views, enjoying hearty breakfasts, and reconnecting with family or friends, all on us.

Monthly Prize Draws

  1. Winners will be randomly selected and notified as follows:
  2. 3 August 2025 – for bookings made between 15 and 31 July
  3. 3 September 2025 – for bookings made in August
  4. 3 October 2025 – for bookings made in September
  5. Winners will be contacted via the email address used when booking. If no response is received within 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be selected.

Prize Redemption & Terms

  1. Prize stays are valid for 3 months from the 1st of the month following the winner announcement.
  2. Validity periods:
    • July winner: book between 1 August 2025 – 31 October 2025
    • August winner: book between 1 September 2025 – 30 November 2025
    • September winner: book between 1 October 2025 – 31 December 2025
  3. Stays must be booked at least 14 days in advance and are subject to availability.
  4. Winners must submit three preferred check-in date options.
  5. Prize bookings must be made directly with Sun International and not via third-party booking sites.
  6. The winner must be present at check-in and provide a valid government-issued ID.

Important to Know

  1. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
  2. The prize includes accommodation and breakfast only.
    Transportation, additional meals, drinks, spa treatments at Mangwanani Spa, and other incidentals are at the winner’s own cost.
  3. Winners agree to allow Sun International to use their name, image, and participation details for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and possible media partnerships.
  4. Winners may be asked to participate in filmed or photographed promotional content.
  5. Entrants consent to Sun International using their personal booking data for competition-related communication and reporting.

Forfeiture & Disqualification

A winner will forfeit the prize if:

  1. They do not respond within 48 hours of being notified.
  2. They cannot verify their identity.
  3. They are found to have breached any rules of the competition.
  4. They fail to claim or book their prize within the stated timeline.
  5. They have already won during the current campaign period.

Right to Amend or Cancel

  1. Sun International reserves the right to:
  2. Cancel or amend the competition due to unforeseen circumstances.
  3. Modify terms and conditions at any time, with notice published via official channels.

Final Note

  1. All decisions regarding eligibility, prize allocation, and interpretation of these terms rest solely with Sun International. No correspondence will be entered into unless you are a confirmed winner.
