Book ticketsJourney of Baby Ahana Baby Ahana was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer, at the age of 19 months old. Her short life thus far has included three cycles of chemo-immunotherapy. She is doing well but her battle is far from over: she still needs to get to America for life-saving treatment – R4 million stands between her and the chance of survival she deserves.
At the iZulu Theatre on Saturday, 17 May 2025, a cast of performers will entertain audiences in a fundraiser for Baby Ahana. On the line up are singer Shashika Mooruth, all the way from India; Eastern entertainment specialist and singer Preetesh Singh; the legendary Saraswathi Shainaaz Band with singers Shasha, Rameez, Shabnum, Zubair and Rajan; and a dance performance by Vande Mataram Productions. The event will be emceed by radio personality Zakia Ahmed Siddiqui. All proceeds will support baby Ahana’s fight against cancer. For enquiries call Anju Singh on 084 247 2782.
