Showtime Promotions presents FESTIVE LAUGHS, an evening of uproarious laughter with a touch of a musical experience featuring the comedic likes of Darren Maule, Bash with Tash, Kamini Govender & Akhil Maharaj with singing sensation Clinton Philander.
As one of South Africa’s top comedians, Darren Maule is not only an award-winning radio host but also an award-winning comedian with over 20 years of experience. Darren is known for his quick wit, clever observational comedy, and physical humour.
A comedic genius, public figure and all-round media darling, Natashia Portrag more fondly known as by her professional brand and stage name ‘’Bash with Tash’’ has become one of entertainment’s most sought-after and versatile ascending stars. Tash is loved by her peers and fans for her realness, her integrity, her compassionate spirit, and her intelligence.
Known to be one of the most exciting new acts on the Durban comedy scenes, Kamaney is no stranger to the stage. Kamaney started her career in theatre and can now be found on stages all over Durban tackling current events and unpacking political, cultural, and social issues through an absurdly hilarious lens.
Having been in the comedy scene for 6 years, the hilarious Akhil Maharaj has earned his reputation as a comedic force to be reckoned with thanks to his consistent performances all around KZN, Johannesburg & Cape Town. Akhil expanded his repertoire by participating in vernacular comedy shows and sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in South African comedy.
Originally a theatre performer in and around Durban and having performed at multiple international events, Clinton Philander specializes in playing a wide spectrum of different music styles from English, Afrikaans and Spanish.
