Mechanics

  • Selection of the six participants via EBS – Power Winners;
  • Each of the six participants will have the opportunity to play Box my Cash!
  • Each participant will be given a numbered lanyard, one to six, and will play the game in that order as selected via the Power Winner mechanism;
  • Participants have one chance to select a box and reveal a prize from the 12-box promotional game tool;
  • All 12 of the boxes contain cash prizes, six higher value prizes (as per the prize split below) and six consolation prizes of R1 000 cash each;

Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. MVG members must actively play slots or tables during the promotional period to be eligible;
  2. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    • Thursday | 4, 11, 18 and 25 November 2021
    • Mystery Selection | 18h30 to 19h30
    • Game | 20h00
  3. The total promotional prize value is up to R200 000 in cash;
  4. Up to R50 000 in cash is allocated per promotional day;
  5. Each promotional day, six participants will be randomly selected via Power Winners for the opportunity to play the Box my Cash! game;
  6. Each participant will be given a numbered lanyard, one to six, and will play the game in that order as selected via the Power Winner mechanism;
  7. Participants have one chance to select a box and reveal a prize from the 12-box promotional game tool;
  8. All 12 of the boxes contain cash prizes, six higher value prizes consisting of 4 x R5 000, 1 x R10 000 and 1 x R20 000 respectively, and six consolation prizes consisting of R1 000 cash each;
  9. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  10. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  11. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
  12. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  13. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  14. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  15. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  16. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  17. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
