Qualification criteria

All MVG cardholders are eligible to enter the promotion.

Rules

  1. In accordance with the law, no persons under the age of 18 years will be allowed to enter;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  4. Draws will take place on Monday, 19 December 2016 at 20h00 and 21h00;
  5. Participants must activate their entry into the draw, on the day of the draw prior to the actual draw within the specified times;
  6. Ticket entry collection starts at 12h00 on the draw dates and automatically closes 15 minutes prior to the draw start;
  7. Prize winners will be selected by way of a random selection through E-draw.
  8. Draw times and dates, participation, will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion;
  9. Ten qualifying participants will be drawn at 20h00 sharing R50 000 in gaming credits consisting of 10 prizes of R5 000;
  10. One qualifying participant will be drawn at 21h00 to win a vehicle valued at R160 000;
  11. In order to claim on the winning ticket, the ticket holder must be present at the draw and must present themselves within two minutes of their ticket number being announced;
  12. Prize winners must produce evidence of the winning ticket, MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (valid Passport, SA Identity Document, SA Driver's License);
  13. In the event of an entrant not presenting their winning ticket stub and positive picture identification to the auditors within two minutes and/or the entrant not being present at the draw, a new ticket will be drawn;
  14. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  15. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management;
  16. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  17. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  18. Participants do, however, have the options to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  19. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  20. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  21. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
