Mechanics of the promotion

  • The draws for each of the different groups of card tiers will be held on the dates above
  • Each guest will receive 1 free ticket for each of the draws at his specific draw time.
  • Guests can earn additional tickets by playing slots or tables
  • Ticket earning for each of the SunMVG card holders will open the Friday prior to a draw at 18h00 and close the Friday of the draw at 18h00.
  • Ticket issuing will open at 10h00 on each of the promotional days
  • Ticket issuing will close 15 minutes prior to each draw.
  • A Silver MVG card holder can only participate in the Silver draw
  • Gold MVG Card holders can only participate in the Gold Draws
  • Platinum & Diamond MVG card holders can only participate in the Platinum & Diamond Draws
  • The club state of the guest on the day of the draw will determine whether he is eligible for that days draw. Example: if a guests is a Silver or Gold MVG card holder on the day of the Silver & Gold Draws, he can take part in the Silver & Gold draw. If the same guest achieves Platinum status before the next Platinum draw, he can then participate in the Platinum & Diamond draw, however he will then not be able to participate in subsequent Silver or Gold Draws.
  • The draws will be done electronically on promotions executive.
  • Guests must present themselves to the auditors with verification stub and picture identification within 2 minutes of their ticket number and name being announced.
  • It's not compulsory for guests to provide their MVG card at the verification process
  • If a guest is not present at a specific draw, a new ticket will be drawn after the 2 minutes and the guest will forfeit his chances of winning
  • A guest can win only once at a specific draw

Mechanics for the Draw on Friday 30 June 2017 at 23h00

  • The draw will be done electronically through promotions executive.
  • Ticket issuing will open on Monday 26 June at 10h00.
  • Ticket issuing will close 15 minutes prior to the draw.
  • Guests must print a verification stub for the draw at 23h00.
  • Guests must present themselves to the auditors with their correct verification stub and picture identification within 2 minutes of their ticket number and name being announced.
  • It's not compulsory for guests to provide their MVG card at the verification process.
  • If a guest is not present at the draw, a new ticket will be drawn electronically by promotions executive after the 2 minutes and the guest will forfeit his/her chance of winning.
  • Guests can earn tickets on the above mentioned criteria and will the prize as stipulated below on date and time indicated.

Rules and Regulations

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. Participants earn points by playing slots or tables whilst using MVG loyalty cards.
  5. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
  6. Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw. Draw times and dates, and points criteria to earn tickets, will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  7. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s), on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times.
  8. Prize winners who are present will be given 120 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and positive and acceptable form of identification.
  9. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 120 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
  10. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing board will be informed of any such changes.
  11. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  12. Slots credits cannot be exchanged for Tables Non-negotiable chips.
  13. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; Participants does however have the right to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing board in the event of a dispute.
  14. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  15. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  16. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
