The Sonja & Tjokker live performance is an action packed fun filled bilingual (Afr & Eng) musical production for pre-primary and primary school children. Sonja Herholdt is a well-known South African singer and Tjokker, the big brown fluffy dog, is her best doggy friend.
Together the duo has travelled all over South Africa since 2012 to entertain and educate children with their interactive music production. During the show they perform new and well known children songs and invite the audience to participate with actions, and movements of dance.
The show aims to entertain but also to educate the audience in various basic life skills. Topical lessons like saving water, not to litter, sharing and personal hygiene (brushing teeth) is addressed in creative and fun ways. They also make clever use of various props, to ensure a multi sensory creative experience.
The show will start at 11h00, doors open from 10h00.
