PROMOTION DETAILS

Flamingo Race Day:

  • In total, there are 14 horses that will race.
  • Each entry represents a combination of two horses ie they will have to choose two horses per entry from the 14 horses that race.
  • Guests will receive 1 entry per 2 points earned up to a maximum of 5 entries.
  • Guests who qualify will be allowed to choose a selection of horses.
  • The race will be run at 20h30.
  • E-ticket station will close at 20h15.
  • A guest has to have two winning horses on a ticket to claim the prize.
  • Guests must present themselves to the compere by 20h45.
  • Prizes not claimed will be added to the prize money for the next Wednesday.  
  • In the event that there is a technical challenge which affects the promotion, a draw will be held.
  • All tickets will be placed in a tombola
  • 5 tickets will be drawn & the sun xtra play will be split between winners.

R5,000 SXP Draw:

  • All guests who participated in Flamingo Race day can have an extra chance to win at 21h30.
  • Guests need to deposit their tickets into the tombola placed on the stage.
  • Tombola closes at 21h25. Draw starts at 21h30.
  • 10 tickets will be drawn by the Marketing rep.
  • The 10 winners will each receive R500 sun xtra play

MVG's who earned 10 points weekly.

  • Guests need to swipe their MVG card to see if they qualify.

RULES

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. ny person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  4. To qualify as a contestant guests have to be an MVG and have earned the stipulated points during the promotional period;
  5. Tickets will be issued using the e-ticket system;
  6. A maximum of 5 tickets/entries will be issued regardless of the number of points earned;
  7. Ticket issue closes at 20h15 on the promotion night;
  8. The customer then chooses their combination on the promo exec system at the MVG Desk;
  9. They choose two horses per ticket;
  10. The race will be held at 20h30,
  11. On completion of the race, the winners will be shown on the screen;
  12. To qualify as a winner, there must be two winning horses on the same ticket, but in no specific order;
  13. The system will select their winnings;
  14. Winners have until 20h45 on the race night to claim their prize;
  15. In the event of no winners, the money or balance thereof will be rolled over to the next week;
  16. Tickets are valid on the respective draw date only;
  17. No late entries will be accepted;
  18. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  19. Prize winners who are present must present themselves to the compere and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Club card belonging to the winner; and positive and acceptable form of identification;
  20. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  21. All decisions are final and binding. However, correspondence or appeals can be referred to the Northern Cape Gambling Board;
  22. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management;
  23. In the event of a ticket being damaged/destroyed in any way, the ticket will be made null and void;
  24. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  25. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
  26. All communication regarding this promotion constitutes part of the rules;
  27. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
