Promotion Detail

Play slots or tables and earn 25 points in one visit between 15 and 27 December 2015 to stand a chance to play SunSwipe the following day.
Guests will not be able to print their vouchers on the same day that they earned the points.

Sunswipe consists of a 2 part "game". Guests swipe their card at the terminal on the gaming floor and the system will verify that they have qualified.
The guest then gets a chance to play "pick a box" for a prize. The prize voucher is automatically printed for the guest to redeem.

In some instances, the system may select the customer to play a further bonus game of "Spin the Wheel".

One of the prizes on the "pick a box" is an entry to a cash draw on Tuesday 29 December 2015. The entry ticket to the draw will be automatically printed and guests can deposit their ticket into the tombola for the draw.

Free play vouchers can be redeemed at the main Cash Desk, Spa vouchers at the Precious Rubies Spa located in the Carnival City Hotel, the accommodation voucher at The Carnival City Hotel and Meal Vouchers at Harvest Grill and Wine at Carnival City.

Guests are limited to printing a maximum of 3 prize vouchers per day.

Prize vouchers that are draw tickets must be deposited into the tombola before 18h45 on 29 December 2015.

A manual ticket draw will be used to select the winners of the cash prizes as per the prize breakdown below.

Points for this promotion can be earned from 06h00 on Tuesday, 15 December 2015 until 06h00 on Sunday, 27 December 2015.

Cash draw will take place at 19h00 and 20h00 on Tuesday, 29 December 2015.

Qualification criteria

  • Open to MVG cardholders only.
  • All MVG cardholders who earn the required points within the timeframe specified are eligible.
  • Qualification to play SunSwipe is limited to one game per day and guests can only accumulate a maximum of 3 vouchers to print at any one time.

Rules

  1. In terms of Carnival City, no person under 18 years may participate in this promotion.
  2. Participants must be a valid MVG cardholder.
  3. Participants must earn 25 MVG points or more in one day between 15 and 27 December 2015 in order to qualify to play SunSwipe.
  4. Qualifying guests will only receive one entry for each day's play irrespective of how many points were earned.
  5. Qualifying guests can only play Sunswipe on the day after accumulating 25 MVG points or more.
  6. Prize vouchers must be printed by 06h00 on 29 December and must be redeemed on this date.
  7. A maximum of 3 prize vouchers can be printed at a time, irrespective of how many were accumulated.
  8. Free play vouchers can be redeemed at Cash Desk, Spa vouchers at the Precious Rubies Spa, the accommodation voucher at The Carnival City Hotel and Meal Vouchers at Harvest Grill and Wine at Carnival City.
  9. Prizes will only be redeemable on presentation of a valid prize voucher.
  10. All prize vouchers expires on 29 December and must be redeemed before the end of this day.
  11. Prize vouchers that are draw tickets must be deposited into the tombola before 18h45 on 29 December 2015.
  12. Guests are responsible for their vouchers and replacements will not be issued if lost.
  13. The tombola will be accessible during the promotional period until 15 minutes prior to the start of the draw. No late entries will be accepted.
  14. In order to claim on the winning draw ticket the ticket holder must be present at the draw and must present themselves within 90 seconds of their ticket number being announced, with their valid picture identification (valid Passport, SA Identity Document, SA Driver's License).
  15. In the event of a participant not presenting positive picture identification to the auditors within 90 seconds and/or the participant not being present at the draw, a new ticket will be drawn.
  16. Tickets are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  17. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  18. Carnival City may vary or add to the rules of the promotion in the interest of fairness to all participants, with prior approval from the Gauteng Gambling and Racing Board.
