There’s no better sense of place in Cape Town as you have a bird’s eye view
of the mother city. The walk is nourishing for the soul. As you stroll along
paths lined with natural indigenous fynbos, you’ll hear tales about edible plant
species and African medicinal folklore - it almost feels as if you could spend
all day up there instead of just an hour or two.
There are two different walking trails available; an easy walk along the spine
of Signal Hill or a more energetic hike along the lower slopes of Table
Once completed there’s a treat of a different kind in store, delicious Fynbos
infusions and canapés waits back at the Table Bay Hotel, followed by a
five-course tasting menu. There are five different tasting menu’s to choose from
including a vegetarian offering.
Unusual dishes include coffee and cumin crusted
kudu carpaccio with fynbos honey and quince jelly, ceviche style sea bass with a
buchu and lime dressing and pea and geranium risotto with vanilla mascarpone
