From O.R. Tambo Airport (±220km)
Toll Road – N1/N4 Bakwena Platinum Highway
- Take the R21 out from O R Tambo going north.
- Continue on until turn off indicating N1 north (Johannesburg/Polokwane)
- Take Polokwane turn off which curves around and under the road to go north on N1
- Continue straight until the road has a left turn off indicated onto the N4 Platinum highway
- Continue through 2 toll gates until the left turn off indicated with a Sun City sign. Go right across the bridge and continue along the R 556
- This road takes you straight to Sun City ± 70 kms from this point.
From Sandton Central (±165km)
- Take the Greyston Drive on ramp and join the R1 freeway.
- Take a left after Woodmead and join the N1.
- Continue past Rivonia and William Nicol off ramps.
- Take the Malibongwe off ramp and turn right towards Witkoppen.
- Continue straight, over Hartebeespoort Dam. At the T-Junction turn right (R512) to Brits.
- At the 4-way stop turn left towards Brits and Rustenburg.
- Pass the first turn off to Brits and turn right at the second turn off (Rustenburg R27).
- Take a left onto the R91 to Pilanesberg.
- Exit left off the highway and turn right.
- Continue across the highway straight into Sun City.
