MVG Programme

  • MVG Guidelines

    • If you have any queries regarding your MVG membership, please speak to one of our consultants at the MVG desk
    • Every US$500 played through a slot machine will earn you one point
    • Every US$2000 bet at the American Roulette and Poker Tables, Touchbet and Roulette machines and every US$2500 bet on other tables games, will earn you one point
    • You may request a Personal Identity Number (PIN) - This protects your card just as your PIN protects your ATM card
    • Report lost/stolen/damaged/expired MVG cards to the MVG desk so that it can be replaced
    • A partner card can be linked to the main MVG card - This benefit allows you to accumulate your MVG points together to maintain your current card status or possible move to the next tier level
    • If you wish to play more than one slot machine at a time you can link additional Maroon cards to your main MVG card
    • Due to monetary regulations the Cash Desk at Federal Palace are unable to transfer money in foreign currency on your MVG smart card
    • All accommodation bookings are subject to availability for one room per main cardholder for the maximum of 3 consecutive nights
    • Please note that quests will be required to present a valid MVG card and ID when checking into the hotel
    • The MVG Programme described on this page is applicable to Federal Palace
    • Sun International Casinos in other African countries: Botswana, Lestotho, Namibia, South Africa and Swaziland operate the MVG Programme Independantly to each other. However you can still enjoy the benefits afforded by the programme in these casinos
    • Foreign issued MVG cards, namely from South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and Chile are issued in Nigeria to the same status held in the other countries. Please note that this is subject to card validity and status verification

    Conditions of Membership

    • Sun International reserves the right to levy a charge to replace a lost MVG card
    • Sun International is not responsible for any loss of monies and/or MVG points resulting from a lost MVG card
    • Your PIN remains your personal property - Should you divulge your PIN to any other person, Sun International will not be liable for any loss that occurs
    • The MVG card remains the property of Sun International
    • The MVG card is not transferable to another person
    • Sun International reserves the right to change the conditions of membership at any time, including the programme rules and regulations, rewards and benefits, specials offers, points, expiry periods, rates at which points are earned and participating casinos without prior notification
    • MVG cardholders must be over 18 years of age
    • MVG points are valid for a period of twelve months, after which time they expire. Forfeited points cannot be reclaimed
    • Membership is not open to Sun International employees or members of their immediate families
    • MVG points cannot be awarded retroactively
    • In the event of a dispute in respect to any of the conditions of membership, the decisions of Sun International shall be binding on the MVG member.
