With more than 10 years’ experience in the kitchen and two bachelor’s degrees from Capsicum Culinary Studio to her name, Refilwe Rakobane is as efficient as they come.

Her attention to detail, natural leadership ability, and eagerness to learn mean she is constantly improving her fine-dining skills and service.

Rakobane has served as junior pastry chef at Villa Del Palazzo and The Grill Room at The Palace, Pizzaiolo at Brew Monkey at the Valley of Waves, and Chef De Partie at Peninsula at Cascades.

Signature dish: Biltong-crusted beef fillet, served with pomme potato and a twist on seasonal vegetables, paired with red wine jus
