TV star, SAMA nominee, brand ambassador and Supermom Kelly Khumalo brings her megawatt musical magic to The Carousel Casino in April! The talented songstress and her 6-piece band will bring their star power to bear at The Cheyenne Saloon on 25 and 26 April 2014.
She got her performance career off to a dizzying start, taking to the stage for the first time in front of 30 000 people at a Kaizer Chiefs soccer match. Two months later, she opened for Missy Elliott. A decade on, Kelly is one of the most experienced live performers in South Africa. Backed by a 6-piece band, Kelly delivers a powerful, intense and emotional show incorporating original Afro-pop, soul and adult contemporary tracks.
She’s also starred in SABC1’s Mthunzini.com, Rhythm City and her own reality show, Rolling with Kelly Khumalo.
Four gorgeous, classically-trained virtuosos who can bring any
musical genre to life with their cellos, violins and violas.
Their versions of hits like “Party Rock”, “Pata, Pata” and “Don’t You Worry
Child” have garnered them a cult following, and they’ve recently added
“Titanium”, “Locked Out Of Heaven” and Pink’s “Try” to their rocking repertoire
Each member of the group followed their own path – and when their styles
combine, they’re unstoppable! John Mayer fan Ruby brings the ‘rock chick’
attitude, Mia’s world revolves around music, Laetitia brings her classical studies
to the group and Olivia delivers the indie twist.
