Battle of the Giants is a dance competition that attracts South Africa’s hottest dancing talent to the Sun City Resort . This annual event is collaboration between Sun International and SADTA – the South African Dance Teachers Association – and has been in successful running for the last 22 years. Each year that passes sees the Battle of the Giants becoming hotter, more competitive, more impressive and more popular. Showcasing talent between the ages of 7 and 20-something, Battle of the Giants is an annual event not to be missed!

This annual event stands as a qualifying round for our talented local stars to compete in in their attempts to become one of the Top 5 dancers across South Africa. Being crowned as one of the esteemed Top 5 will give them the opportunity to compete internationally alongside global talent, while proudly waving the South African flag and showing what they’re made of.

The amazing dancing is enough to attract thousands of spectators to the show every year; but knowing that support for our local talent can help them reach their dreams overseas just makes it all the more special.
