• Platinum Award at the World Quality Summit Awards in New York after taking Gold the previous year. The award recognises corporate achievement, leadership, innovation, quality and excellence.
• Table Bay Hotel was named joint winner by Professional Management Review (PMR) for the Best City Conference and Banqueting Venue in South Africa.
• Condé Nast Traveler Magazine - Atlantic Restaurant amongst the World’s Top 50 New Restaurants – after relaunch of the restaurant.
• Conde Nast Traveler (USA) voted Table Bay Hotel as the best hotel in Africa and the Middle East, and 4th in the world rankings.

2003

• Condé Nast Traveler (USA), included the hotel in their Gold List of Top Properties in the World. The Table Bay was the only hotel in Africa which appeared in the top three positions of the five categories – ie. Location, Design, Room Standard, Service and Quality of Food.
