• Accommodation

  • Vacation Club The Fish River Sun is a Vacation Club Timeshare Resort with RCI Gold Crown Status. The hotel bedrooms have been awarded a four-star rating by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. All of the accommodation at the Fish River Sun is Vacation Club self-catering units. Please be advised that 75% of the units are non-smoking. Should you require a smoking unit, please request this prior to your arrival. If accommodation is utilised as a hotel bedroom, the lounge can be used for an additional fee.   • Bora Bora Conference Room The Bora Bora venue can accommodate 250 guests for cocktails, 160 for a served banquet and 200 in cinema-style seating. The room is sub-divisible and each room can accommodate 70 for cocktails, 50 for a buffet banquet and 100 cinema-style. t: +27 40 676 1101

  • Tabua Conference Rooms These large banqueting rooms provide for 1500 m2 of floor space and are ideal for large conferences of up to 300 delegates in cinema-style or for a buffet banquet for 300 guests. t: +27 40 676 1101

  • Tahiti Conference Room This room provides for small conference groups of up to 50 delegates in cinema-style, or 20 people in a u-shaped meeting set-up. • Golf

  • Golf This magnificent Gary Player-designed championship 18-hole course is regarded as a must-play, incorporating bent grass greens and a number of unique challenges presented by the natural landscape. Open to golfers of all levels, the course includes several drives across the Old Woman’s River, and makes the most of the prevailing wind conditions.   Resident rates are available, and our resident pro is on hand for all manner of tips, advice and even lessons.   • Kamp Kwena Children’s Club Kamp Kwena is our specials KIDS ONLY club! This is a supervised, entertainment programme for children between 3 and 12, and is run from the indoor Kamp Kwena playroom.   • Castaways Beach Bar Join us at Castaways, a shipshape, rustic beach bar at the Fish River Sun, only a short stroll from the beach. This rustic relaxation spot and beach bar getaway offers visitors a carefree atmosphere and wide variety of activities.   Whether it’s sipping a refreshing beverage or soaking up the sunshine with one of our many activities which include canoeing, dune boarding, skim boarding, beach volley ball and fishing, you’ll always have the perfect escape.   • The Kontiki Bar When it comes to entertainment, this is where it all happens. In addition to the big screen, there are 10 television sets, so you can catch all the sporting action. A pool table, dartboard and lounge area are also available. t: +27 40 676 1101

  • The Wahoo Restaurant The Wahoo Restaurant has the capacity to seat 120 guests, and boasts a buffet or à la carte menu for dinner. Smart casual attire is appropriate. Every Friday evening the Wahoo Mixed Grill buffet is served, and Saturday evening the renowned Seafood Splash buffet is served.   • Beach Experience the wonders of Africa's South Eastern Coastline. The Fish River Sun offer travellers unspoilt golden beaches for safe swimming, spear fishing, surf angling, and peaceful relaxation.   The Eastern Province Coast is called Africa's Sunshine Coast because it has more proven sunshine days per year than any other part of the South African coastline.
